I mounted the magnet and sensor to an RC car to see if the speed being displayed was accurate and to get a general sense as to how I would mount it to the go-kart.

I laser cut a cardboard version of the box to hold all of the elctronics to make sure that when I printed everything in wood, it would be prefect.
