This is my final project poster which includes what, why, and how I converted a gas remote-controlled car to electric. Reading this will provide an understanding of how each component works and connects together to make my project come to life.

My pitch is a concise explanation of how I swapped gasoline components for their electric counterparts while also telling of my initial goals going in.

Project Demo

This demonstration is a short video highlighting the basic capabilities of my project.

Prototype #1

This first prototype was a dual, "tank drive," robot which taught me the basics of using receivers, transmitters, motors, and motor drivers all with an Arduino. Unfortunately, it has since been disassembled for parts.

Final Project

My final product was able to combine my knowledge to date to fully convert a gas powered RC car to electric by swapping the gas motor and reservoir for an electric motor and battery. These components could be controlled via an Arduino with a receiver and transmitter.
